Week 1: Took a pregnancy test last night and found out a baby is on the way. Told hubby and we both were in blissful shock. Went to the doctor for verification and pregnancy test was confirmed. Shopped at Target for a bib that says, “I Love My Dad” so hubby would know it was official.
Week 2: I am exhausted. Why don’t they have naptime after lunch at the office? Don’t some countries encourage that policy for better afternoon production? Maybe I should become a preschool teacher. Told a couple colleagues at work the exciting news. Have yet to tell my boss.
Week 3: Okay, this must officially be Week 7 because “morning sickness” has hit. I can’t open the refrigerator without wanting to throw everything out or throw up. Made a mental note to place juice and bagels in an easy access location where I can grab them with my eyes closed.
Week 8: We’re on baby time now and counting down the official 40 weeks until D-Day. Still wondering about being 먹튀검증 a preschool teacher. Have survived the past week at the office without getting sick in front of anyone. Everyone is probably wondering how small my bladder can possibly be. And I am literally eating something every time anyone walks by my desk.
Week 10: Skipped journaling the past week because I needed sleep. Actually, I need a nap right now.
Week 12: I am officially nearing the end of the first trimester. So when is the nausea supposed to end?
Week 13: Was able to take the doggie bags out of my purse and breathe a sigh of relief that I don’t constantly feel like vomiting anymore. I am craving burgers and pizza constantly. Does that mean a boy or girl?
Week 14: Great, the nausea is passed but now I feel completely bloated all the time. I need to get on a pregnancy exercise plan to get my metabolism going and digestion operating more efficiently. Not sure if nausea or constipation is more unpleasant.
Week 20: The baby bump definitely has appeared. Still have some shirts that fit, but I am primarily wearing maternity clothes. No more of my pre-pregnancy jeans fit anymore.
Week 24: Feeling great. This pregnancy thing is no big deal. Looking forward to our babymoon at the beach and getting to wear my new maternity swimsuit.
Week 30: Not feeling so great anymore. Instead I feel more like a penguin. Everywhere I walk I waddle with my stomach out in front. Also, my hips feel incredibly loose – especially in the mornings when I get out of bed.
Week 32: Heartburn is my enemy. I’m trying to follow all the guidelines for helping heartburn like avoiding spicy food, citrus fruits, carbonated beverages, and greasy food (what can I eat?). Nothing is helping. I lay propped up in bed at night until I finally fall asleep sitting up. Then at about 2 in the morning I wake up with a stiff neck and am able to sleep on my side.
